FOODIE #1: APPLE CHIPS

In the next period Starecasers will undergo some changes and become more and more interactive. New
sections will soon be regular features of our blog and you will get to know us from many other perspectives.
One of them is "Foodie", a bimonthly column about our favourite dishes and food creations. Everything
will be easy and playful, we are not trying to be chefs but simply enjoying our free time. First idea for
a relaxing night at home is apple chips with a glass of white wine. More exciting ones coming soon!
(You can easily find the recipe online, otherwise just ask us for it in the comment form below)

    1. 1 Prepare a bowl with 200ml of water, 150gr of brown sugar and 1 squeezed lemon
2 Slice 2 apples as thinly as possible (we used a sharp knife)
3 Let the apples soak into the bowl for a couple of minutes
4 Arrange the slides on a greased baking sheet and sprinkle them with cinnamon
5 Bake at 220 degrees for 45 minutes
6 Flip the slices over and continue baking until crisp
7 Remove and let cool completely
      8 Enjoy!
