TAKE ME 2: THAILAND BEACHES & ISLANDS

After a 2-week break form our very first 'Take Me 2' we wanna make you
forget about the freezing temperatures and revive you dreams of lying on a
warm sand beach with an exotic drink in-hand. Today, we have selected the
hottest pictures at the best beaches we have visited during our trip to Thailand
last month, and collected them in our 5-highlight list. From Koh Ngai to Koh
Lanta, enjoy here below our very best tips for a breathtaking winter getaway.

1. ENJOY A MOMENT OF QUIET ON KOH NGAI

When people talk about beaches in Thailand, everyone comes up with Koh Phi Phi,
Phuket, or Koh Samui. Let us tell you one thing: Koh Ngai is your dream destination.
It's a very small and charming island between Krabi and Trang provinces, a romantic
jewel for privacy and serenity. It's probably one of the most beautiful and relaxed
island in the Andaman, with just one long and white sandy beach, an incredible
outlook to some pretty scenic landscapes, and, most important, no villages. If you are
a beach lover, or you are seeking for restful days after a stay in the chaotic Bangkok,
Koh Ngai is the place to go. Everything stops before 22h, but who needs nightlife
when you have those spectacular views?

2. SEE THE ISLANDS OFF KRABI ON A FULL-DAY LONG BOAT TRIP

If you are more of an adventurous type, you can always book a full-day longtail trip
which include snorkeling around the small islets offshore plus an unforgettable visit to
Ko Muk's fabulous Emerald Cave and some beach time on the nearby islands Ko
Mook and Ko Kradan. Make sure to have an underwater camera with you, not only
for thousand different fish and corals, but to also snap some underwater shots of you,
which will of course look all the same, but will eventually turn out to be extremely funny!

3. DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Forget the city, forget your school, your office, this is your time.
A vacation is the perfect time to immerse yourself in nature itself -
a walk along the beach, some relax on the water edge of a pool,
or just drawing circle in the sand with your feet. Just choose the
place and make doing nothing an art form. You won't regret it!

4. STRIKE A POSE AT THE BEACH

Vacation time means usually three things: beach, sun & fun! However, if you have
a fashion blog, you might wanna add one more ingredient to your one week holiday
at the beach: an outfit shooting! Beaches definitely present photography addicts like
us with a number of wonderful opportunities to snap some really good pictures, due
to the always interesting light and colors. It's always good to beat the power of the
sun's light by shooting at the start and end of days, when the light becomes quite warm
and golden. Another good tip is to always look for a focal point, or you might end up
capturing endless boring beautiful scenes with no point of interest. Luckily enough, finding
some sweet spots wasn't difficult for us - just a bit of usual fiddling for the perfect shot!

5. ENJOY SPECTACULAR SUNSETS ON KOH LANTA

One of the most memorable things about Thailand, beside food, is definitely its magical
sceneries. If you land at Koh Lanta, you can find your own little perfect beach oasis,
ideal to walk around, sip a beer or just chill out underneath some palm trees. However,
what is pretty awesome about the island is the sunset. It is mind-blowing and it
definitely deserves an Instagram picture! But sunsets, maybe more than any other
scenery, really can't be captured by a camera. You just have to live it and share it
with a very special person, turning that short moment into the best day of your life.
